Polar Express Day

Today is Polar Express Day in my classroom...It is a really cool day, we will read the book, watch the movie, and drink hot chocolate all in our pajamas! It is so fun! The best part to me, is that right after we read the book, our room will be "buzzed" by the front office because a package has been delivered. It is a frozen box of what turns out to be bells, JUST AS IF IT CAME ALL THE WAY FROM THE NORTH POLE!! They also will get their stockings today, which have been hung by the white board with care! (They do not know what is inside, but they have gotten a treat each day in December that they have not had their card marked!)
Oh how exciting!

Today is also the day that we drop off our Sweet Grace at the Kennedy's. They are watching her for 8 days while we are away! How are we supposed to say good bye to this sweet face!?

So, I guess, Christmas vacation really starts today! YAHOOOOO! After today, No more working until 2009! I am truly looking forward to our first Christmas trip as a married couple... next time I write, I will be in the snow! :)
