A Verry Merry Christmas to you...

Merry Christmas to you! Erik and I are in Chicago at my parents' house and enjoying such a wonderful time! We drove in yesterday afternoon from Michigan with my sister in law, Leah. When we got in, the family tradition of making sugar cookies began! Everyone helps, rolling the dough, putting sprinkles on each tray, and laughing the entire time...Erik is learning the family secrets... and paitently waiting to put the sprinkles on the next tray full!!
Sometimes you just have to put the diets aside, and have a few...Afterwards, we had the traditional delicious lasanga dinner (YUM! THANKS MOM!!)
So far, today has been nothing short of spectacular... We woke up too early and padded with full coffee cups into the living room. We opened gifts a plenty and then a Christmas breakfast of "That Casserole"!
After we watched It's a Wonderful Life {one of my favorites}, we all went to the Oswego Theatre and saw Marley and Me... WOW, who knew that one theatre could cry that much? It was such a sweet movie! We came home to a delicious rib roast and of course, as every day on this trip...I ate too much!!
A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and yours, I hope your day has been just as wonderful as mine, I have so much to be grateful for!
