I am SO HAPPY, David passed the swallow test this morning! YAHOOOO! He can now have pureed chicken and nectar juices, mashed potatoes and chocolate ice cream... hooray!! :)
They decided he was through with dialysis, so they took the port out of his neck for that!! I am so glad, I know he is, too! I just talked with Leah, and she says he is sleeping soundly. He had a busy day, he sat up in a chair twice and stood for a few seconds. I can not wait, I know it won't be long until he is out of ICU. Jeanine and I had a fun day, we went to a new restaurant called Parma... Oh. My. Goodness. DELICIOUS! Go try it, and make sure you invite me when you go, I think it is my new favorite place to eat! mmmmm.
Tomorrow I can say, "tomorrow we go to the lake!" YAY!
