I am loving the pillow. It is a godsend. Do not let me be misleading, I am not in anyway sleeping MORE; however, I am able to be comfortable when I do sleep.... oh, and it keeps me on my side, which is a feat in itself. I recommend this pillow, and they show you positions to use after the baby is born, too... that will be fun to try! :)
I got the Rhogam shot yesterday. You get that if you are pregnant and have a negative blood type.
I will get it again upon delivery. It will keep my body from fighting off future pregnancies with sweet little babies with positive blood types.
What else? Oh! My sweet grade levels (both 3rd and 5th) are hosting a double baby shower thrown for me and my wonderful teammate, Erin, next week. Erin is due February 9th with a baby girl! So we could both share the excitement, the shower is before she goes on leave... I am looking so forward to it, it will be my first shower.
Our downstairs guest room is ready to move furniture into it! :) Hopefully that will happen soon. I am thrilled. Erik has painted and sanded and swept and make that place look AMAZING! I can not wait for my parents to arrive for their visit in February so they can stay in the newly renovated room! :)
One last thought. My brother goes in for his reversal surgery on Monday. That is less than a week away! I know he is probably nervous and excited all at the same time. This will be the last surgery he needs and then he will be fixed and back to a better working version of his old self! I will not be able to be there because I can not fly at 29 weeks (which is what I will be then); however, I will be the pesky sister on the phone every few hours with my parents asking for updates! He will be great, I have no doubt. Please keep him in your prayers, this has been quite the ordeal and Tuesday should be the end of it.
