Kick'n

I am sitting here on a Saturday morning, earlier than perhaps I would like. BUT... the cool part? I get to feel my son kicking away. It is a feeling that is so indescribable. It is awesome. He is getting bigger and stronger, so the kicks are obviously becoming stronger and more frequent. I am digging it. The first time Erik felt Lucas kick up a storm was in Chicago on the 29th. How awesome. Those were big kicks. He got to feel them again last night. You should have seen my hubby's big grin when that happened, words can not say how sweet it was!

Gwinnett County closed schools yesterday, for our huge amounts of snow and ice. It was just what the doctor ordered... we spent the day lounging, cleaning, cooking, oh- and eating ice cream. Wonderful.

Today, I have a fun day planned. I get to meet Jayme for breakfast at Mimi's. Yum. I can not wait to see her or Kaleigh and also can not wait to taste a DELICIOUS Mimi's muffin!! :) I think I may get a latte to go with it! Yummmmmmm. Then, I am headed home to make stuffed shells for Erik and the boys. They need something tasty to eat while playing poker for hours on end this evening. Then, while our men are diligently helping Erik get the guest room's baseboards set up, Jeanine, Jessica, and I are headed out to see what type of trouble we can get into. I imagine pedicures will be on the list. Finally, while Erik is hosting poker this evening, I will be celebrating my sweet cousin, Catherine's 30th birthday!! I can not believe it! We are headed to Two Urban Licks. O.M.G. it is sooo good! If you have never been, you. should. go!

To top it all off? It is Kelsey's wedding day! SO excited for her..... I know she will make a stunning bride!!
